Hello Dear Friends,

We know that so many are struggling during these very uncertain times and day by day it seems to get more confusing. At Interfaith Sanctuary we are staying focused on doing what we can to keep our homeless community and our larger community as safe as possible. We have asked our volunteers who may be at risk to cease coming to the shelter at this time to protect them. Our guests are working alongside us to help keep our shelter deep cleaned. The stronger and healthy men and women who call Interfaith home right now are giving up their beds to make sure our most medically fragile have a safe place to sleep at night. Just like so many other businesses we are taking all necessary precautions and stepping up our cleaning program for our building. We have purchased outdoor hand washing stations and are moving all dining outside so we are able to reduce large groups congregating inside. We are a brave bunch at Interfaith and have had to deal with many challenges throughout the years but this new reality is definitely testing all of us. We want to keep everyone safe and get them everything they need but we will have to do that with a limited network of help because of the risk our shelter can pose for the many volunteers who have served alongside us for so many years. This donation page is being set up to help us cover the expenses that we will need to take on to ensure that our guests, staff and volunteers are as safe as possible while they are working or calling our shelter their home.
