Help Us Finish What We Started

Our community did something pretty incredible.

Together, we raised $14 million of the $18 million needed to build our new Shelter Home, open the doors and welcome our guests home.

We are here. Our guests are here. And every day, this Shelter Home is doing exactly what we dreamed it could do.

Now we have one more big lift ahead of us.

We still have $4 million remaining on our construction loan, and until that debt is paid, Interfaith Sanctuary is responsible for the monthly interest payments. Those payments take dollars away from the day-to-day work happening inside our Shelter Home: meals, staffing, programs, medical care and all the things our guests depend on.

For now, we have reserves helping us cover those payments. But within the next six months, those reserves will be gone and the loan payments will begin coming directly out of our operating dollars.

That is why finishing this campaign matters so much.

Every dollar donated to our Capital Campaign goes directly toward paying down our construction loan. And every dollar we pay down reduces the amount of interest we have to pay each month.

We have come so far because this community believed in this Shelter Home and helped us build it.

Now we are asking everyone to take one more big breath with us and help close this final $4 million gap.
